tracking a package with fedex is strange

just ordered a DMM with music123 which is in south bends indiana. i'm in canada. but when i look at the tracking results, my package went from south bends to memphis tenesse today. i've heard about detour but that's quite one. man, i'm confused.

Things get shipped to really odd places. I had a guitar spend the night in Salt Lake City one time. :freak:

Looks like a normal route. What do you think, they're going to trailblaze their own route? No, they'll use interstates already in place.

 

Looks like they took 57 to 55 down to Memphis where a hub is located. I dont' know what part of Quebec you're in but I can only see two US interstates going into Quebec and they're both in new England.

 

So they'll probably take I-40 to I-81 which will take your package north into Canada via New York State.

yeah makes sense. i found it weird cause i was used to ups and normally they send the packages to chicago or detroit and then it crossed the border in ontario.

Yeah that's why i try not to look at my tracking info cause it drives me crazy.
