Members vteckid22
...and I clipped the D6 and D7 diodes. I the sound, except now there is a "fizzy" trail when I hit full barre chords. Is this normal? Has anybody tried the mod and got the same result that I have? Thanks!
Members Kin Corn Karn
I did that mod and I don't get that. Try changing your battery?

I run it a lot lower than what you have typed up...my volume is unity, gain is between 9:00 and 11:00, and tone is around 11:00.I love what the mod did in terms of the sound, its just the little bit of fizzy trail that kind of annoys me. Members inuitdream
I did the mod to my OD-3, the fizziness of the stock OD-3 was actually reduced substantially. Making it smoother.

Making it smoother. That is so weird! My od-3 after the mod the DECAY sounds fizzy in that the "fizz" itself sounds kind of like a big muff with the gain turned all the way down (sort of). Im so confused why...Otherwise I really love what the mod has done to change the tone of the OD.

Members eric0307nl
I did the monte mod Really great. Very transparant and clear. You can go from boost to mild overdrive. I also have the BD-2 mod of monte. I don't know yet which one to use with my monte SD-1 808 mod. Real good value for money and the sound definitly gets better.
