Low gain + mid hump -> high gain + mid scoop =

I've always wanted to try that. But how would you turn them both off at once? Say; in a live situation?

OK, here is the basis of my signature-tone.

This guitar -->Big Muff NYC Ri -->7Band EQ -->(add OD here) -->DE7 -->Blues Jr.

GUITAR :

Vol = 5

Tone = 10

PU = bridge

Big Muff :

Vol = noon

Tone = 3 o'clock

Gain = 9 o'clock

EQ :

Healthy boost in the mid range

DE7 :

Set up for fast prominetnt slap back echo, ala 60's style !

Blues Jr. :

Vol = #12 (cranked)

Treb = #7

Bass = #7

Mid = #9

JJ tubes all round

Cannibis Rex speaker

. . . add a med-gain OD and you are in PSYCHOBILLY-COUNTRY thinking you are these guys ! :evil:

Drop some SD PHAT CATS in the guitar, and adjust the settings somewhat, on that very same rig, and you get a ball-park tone, of the CRAMPS :love:

side-step is what i call it, and while it takes just a little practice as cool things should, its not neccesarily all that tough to do (some pedals' dimensions/layout/etc can make it tough).

Yup same method, diff. name, i s'pose !

That is what we use in rally car driving !

Just, we call it, "heel & toe".

Left foot on the cluth, and right foot . . .

. . . the heel is on the brake, and the toes of the right foot, is on the excellarator !

See . . . easy !
