DL-4 is center negative, right?

I use a One Spot for my pedals - all standard Boss power type. If I wanna power a DL-4 all I need is VS Line 6 cable and I can run them all from the same One Spot, right?

 

DL-4 takes DC too, and the only difference is the plug itself -

 

2.5mm center pin vs. Boss standard 2.1mm - hence the converter cable?

If you use 9 volts AC, plug polarity is obviously not an issue. But if you use DC power, you must make sure the plug polarity is correct - the DL4 wants a positive center pin, and the center pin itself is also larger than in the usual Boss-type plugs. The converter cable (from Visual Sound and others) takes care of both issues. It does not, however, convert the power from DC to AC.

if the DL4 requiers positive center pin - if you run it on DC - does that mean I need a separate 1 Spot?

I run my DL-4 off the daisy chain connected to my Godlyke, using the right cord in between.

So yeah.
