OT help me out with this bittorrent thing

Okay, I've been trying to do the bittorrent thing for like a week now. I use microtorrent, but I've tried a sitload of other clients. I've done searches on a ton of sites, but everytime I find something I want and load it in, I always get the same message, connection reset by peer. I've tried killing my firewall, giving the program access, etc. A couple of times it has started to load (it'll go over a few bars) but then the message will appear. Does this sound like I'm being blocked or what am I doing wrong here? Any easy fix or can I just not do the torrent thing?

Don't know how to fix it, but I suggest typing whatever error message it outputs (word for word) and the name of the software into the Google search engine. Chances are someone out there has encountered the same problem and has a solution for it. I do this for all software issues I have and it has yet to let me down.

try checking if your firewall is up. I use "uTorrent" for my downloading app. I get all my torrents from:

 

www.torrentscan.com

 

 

It searches all of the popular torrent sites in one easy to use site.
