Either the Keeley or the Barber Tone Press. Prices new are $219 and $139, repectively. The Keeley is based on the Ross and the Barber has a blend control that allows you to mix some of the uncompressed signal. The Barber works well with acoustics. I like 'em both.

well those may be cheap to you but some of us have to work for a living.

i can recommend the MIJ Arion.
i got mine for $15. pretty versatile too.

the DOD FX 80's pretty good.
everyone loves the DOD Milk Box too.
