Members Vitalogy57
Anyone who has a yamaha magic stomp knows its a pretty kickass pedal for the money. Now that stores are blowing them out at like 70 bucks (i got a new one for 60), they're seriously worth it just for one effect alone... BUT THE POWER SUPPLY! that huge goddamn wall wart, is so awkward. Does anyone know of a smaller power supply that'll work with the pedal? the pedal requires 12 volts AC, and has 1 amp of current draw.

Members Vitalogy57
damn, that jameco is about the same size. i guess i'll just get a two prong extention chord, and attach the adapter to my pedalboard. set it up kinda like how laptops are setup, put the big wart in the middle of the chain. Make sure which way the polarization is on the magicstomp... itll say on the wall wart.... otherwise you risk burning up the adapter... or worse, the magicstomp. Members TeamoDave
Yeah, I don't know why they don't make those things with the transformer mid-cord. I would love to be able to plug it into the AC outlet on the back of my Pedal Power while it's under the 2nd level of my pedalboard. I'm sure there is one out there to be found, I just wonder how good it will be with regards to radio interference and noise.

I think i'll just use a clever setup of a small power cord. but seriouslyy, thanks for your help man. i really appreciate it.
