Members Wilbo26
Slapback is just really short delay, often used for country and rockabilly stuff. Generally 50 ms and under is considering slapback I think.

The dano one sounds great for the price. Its basic as hell but if all you want is slapback it can deliver. Pretty much any delay can do slapback effects though. That would make a nice, inexpensive pairing right there.
Members MrMunky
Slapback is a class of delay. Like others have said, a short echo with few to no repeats is generally considered slapback. I generally use about 125 ms. for slapback. Here are examples of slapback:http://www.inrerocknroll.com/tunes/HCSanta.mp3http://www.inrerocknroll.com/tunes/Slap.mp3 Here's an example of other kinds of delay:http://www.inrerocknroll.com/tunes/UnreasDl.mp3http://www.inrerocknroll.com/tunes/FunDL.mp3http://www.inrerocknroll.com/tunes/Mercer.mp3http://www.inrerocknroll.com/tunes/Delayo.mp3
