I want a versatile overdrive/distortion pedal and both look very appealing but I only can get one. I want my tone to be very Primusy (I know I'm obsessed) which has a lot of gain and drive but all the notes can still ring out nicely. Also I'm planning to run this pedal through a Little Big Muff a Crybaby. One last thing I will be running this through an Amp set to clean. Which pedal do you recommend thanks!

Members Faber Posted December 25, 2006 Members Posted December 25, 2006 Only know the regular RAT, sorry. I Have a RAT abd aCM PT. The rat has a fatter grittiersound to it, where the PT is brighter, and sligthly smoother. The PT also have more nuances to the sound imo, and is more responsive to picking and volune changes. The PT feels like a part of the amp rather than an effect if that makes sense.
