Members futbol1097
What are the main differences between the Vox ToneLab SE Amp Modeler (Floorboard Processor) and the ToneLab Desktop Modeler, besides $200? I am doing home recording but not sure if these both do the same thing. I live in an apartmentt and want to record into my Tascam US-122 using the modeler to cut down on noise. Is the SE worth the extra $200? Thanks,R

Members mfergel
If you don't plan on live use, the desktop will suit your needs fine. I've had both (have the SE right now). To be honest, I almost think the desktop sounds better. The Tonelab has some additional effects, amp models, etc. but the desktop still packs a punch.
