After several weeks of planning, slow deliberate progress and painting and repainting in cold weather  my ModBoard build is complete.

Although Jay from GuitarFetish intended for MODBoards to be installed IN your guitar I took slightly different (but still conceptually similar) approach Why?...

1) I did not like the idea that once installed in one guitar, a MODBoard could not be used with other guitars

2) Even if not for #1 and given the fact that each board requires two pot controls and a switch, it was impractical if even feasible for me to install more than one effect into a single guitar.

Still, I like the "onboard" idea (the "O" in mOdboard) so I "O"utboarded the modboard. I built the components into a plastic Hammond box (which is why I even had a painting step), but offloaded the power supply. The power supply was left out of the box to minimize weight and so the box could be carried on a belt clip - keeping true to the onboard concept. I still need to connect the belt clip so for now it just sits on top of my amp

Power is delivered through a modified stereo guitar cable with a 9V jack spliced into the 3rd conductor.

I used the MODBoard Amp Modeler and Analog Delay, but any boards could have been used. Both modules deliver great analog effects, but the vintagey vibe of the Delay just blows me away.

Because it is the second revision and uses two effects, I decided to name it "Stage.2"

Here it is :o -
