Members comfortablynumb
I went to upload some pics from my camera's memory card today.. I put it in the computers SD slot and opened up my computer and the drive is not there. It's usually drive J:. My other Drives (C,D,E,F,G,H and I) are still there. The light on the tower that usually comes on when you put a card in won't even light up.. The only thing I can think of is I just added a wireless router. That and a new flash drive that plugs into a USB port (I don't keep it plugged in or anything). I had an old USB hub that turned off all my USB ports once. I'm guessing something similar may have happened, but I don't remember how to fix it. Anybody have a clue what happened?
Members comfortablynumb
Okay, I just checked it with the flash drive in and it's showing up as the J: drive. I still can't access my SD card, though.

Members mst3k
Its more likely the contacts than the sd card itself. Use a little alcohol and a qtip to carefully clean the contacts on the sd card. Let it dry and try again. If it still doesn't find it then, Yeah Its probably the card. Members comfortablynumb
I'll try that. I noticed that if I jiggle it around a little bit the light flickers here and there..
