Can I get an "Upgaraded" reverb unit for my Blues Jr.?

I can't remember which ones, but it is possible to fit larger reverb tanks from some other Fender Amps into the BJ chassis, which is what I would try to do as the stock reverb tank on them kinda sucks. Maybe the Deluxe Reverb's tank can be squeezed in there? I'll try and do a search and see if I can find an example.

Billm's page also has some info on common problems so it might be a quick fix to get your reverb working:

Thanks guys!

I tried Billm's page and I seem to have the really hard problem to fix that he talks about.

I don't think another tank would fit. It's snug now. I know nothing or reverb except that the stock reverb is not great. Is their one that is the right size but "better"? Like is one from Mojo better then one from tubesandmore?

Are you sure? Does it look similar to this:

If its already taking up most of the space its not even a stock one.

Not sure if there is a good upgrade that is the size of the original. I might be off but I think one reason for the Reverb's poor sound is the small size of the tank.

:(

Thats the one and no the springs are ok but the wires are messed up some where.

I have 16.5' to work with. No jokes please!:D

If your swapping tanks, just make sure the second digit is an "E" and the third is a "B", to work with a Blues Juniors input/output impedances, just to be safe.

Accutronics Products and Specifications

PART NUMBERING SYSTEM
Reverb part numbers consist of a seven digit code.
EXAMPLE: 4EB2C1B
Each digit in the part number represents a specification. The parameters are as follows:

1ST DIGIT = REVERB TYPE
2ND DIGIT = INPUT IMPEDANCE
3RD DIGIT = OUTPUT IMPEDANCE
4TH DIGIT = DECAY
5TH DIGIT = CONNECTORS
6TH DIGIT = LOCKING DEVICES
7TH DIGIT = MOUNTING PLANE

That's right. I was going to buy one but never got around to it. Some guy on Ebay used to sell filled down tanks that would fit into the chassis.
