They've been discontinued for a while, and thus they're going for more money. $500 is excessive though. $200-$300 is a more reasonable price that you'll see floating around. Members yablokonooza Posted December 28, 2006 Members Share Posted December 28, 2006 The XP-300 Space Station can do quite a bit , but only does a few things exceptionally well in the wacky synth-noise department, although not enough, IMHO, to justify the prices they currently command on ebay. Cache mojo also is a factor here as they have been out of production for quite awhile and have some higher profile users, e.g., I think the bass player from Autolux uses 2 of them, among others... cheers!
