I am questioning the yardstick being used. Here are two threads, one started by Pighood and one not.

Pighood's thread -> http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1527589

Another thread -> http://acapella.harmony-central.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1527808

Pig's thread doesn't really seem to break any of the posted rules of the forum. On the other hand, the Michael Moore thread seems to break some of the posted rules. Though Pig's could be considered a border line troll, it is certainly topical and definitely is his style. The Michael Moore thread seems to be an out and out troll which discusses nothing politically.

Hacked, could you explain the banning yardstick used in these two threads? I think it does provide the perception that different measurements are used depending on the political leaning of the post and poster.

I played all of that out in my head, Wes, before I decided to post this thread. I couldn't make any sense out of it, either. All I could find was what appeared to be a few instances where the mod zeroed in on Pighood, which is Piggy's "fault" I guess being that he does stick out from the crowd, and was annoyed by him being unique. It seems awfully personal.

Of course, they will say they don't have to prove anything. And then berate us for thinking they should be reasonable and fair. Thanks for that one, Yoozer. :rolleyes:

Good Riddance. He was extremely annoying. A "know all" type.

maybe now he can get a life!!

Thank you for sharing your principle-centered views here. They are badly needed in a place like this. In a time when the prima donnas, the immature, and the degenerates are attempting to bring this place down with their filth, you shine like a beacon of hope.

Thank you so much!

I do not want to imply or suggest that the example I gave was the reason for Pig's banning. I was comparing a thread started by Pig that Hacked responded to and commented on vs. a thread where he apparently felt no comment or action was needed. The Michael Moore thread is but one of a bazillion examples of what would appear to me to be much more in the way of posted rule breaking than what I can find dealing with Pig's postings. Hence the question about which yardstick is being used when.

I think it would be a very good thing if Pighood was banned again. Pighood must be taught a lesson. He must finally learn when it is safe. Thanks.
