Members Tonemeister87
Do you use a pedal always on or a pedal w/ a good quality buffer? If so, what pedal are you using?

Members fusionid
I let the boss bypass do the magic, though I have 2 in a sea of TB's when I play clean, my compressor is always on. So there, the compressor does most of the magic really.

Members andreas
I used to have various dedicated buffer units sedond in line (right after the wah, which is placed first in line to be used as the main input point) - anything from a TS-9 to a t.c. preamp and a home-built IC-based buffer unit has figured in that role. Lately, though, I've been using a Korg DT-10 tuner in that position, and it works just as well as the dedicated buffer/preamp units did... /Andreas
Members biglurve
I got an MI Audio Boost N Buff just before Christmas. I've played 2 shows with it so far, it's a subtle difference to putting a TU2 (or something) at the start of the chain, but I like it. Pretty cheap, might be worth looking at. Members justintee
i tried my gat>amp and gat>pedals>amp, and there wasn't a discernable difference. i think i've got 3 non-tb pedals, but the bosses and mxr make their mark evident. in a good way thank goodness. would be the start of some buffer pedal gas if not. Members jimmyc84
non tb pedals on my board are a dt10 in front and a dm-2 and a headrush in the loop. those are my buffers
Members DonaldDemon
Doobtone MicroBuffer 2 third in line after wah and Q-tron. I don't think it makes a lick of difference. I have other buffered pedals on my board as well (TU-2 and DD-3) so maybe the buffer is pointless. Iam thinking about removing it so I can use the power outlet. The Tone Press I just got seems to to the best job for spicing up my tone and I pretty much leave it on all the time now.

Members Headlow
My BD-2 does the buffering job for me. My comp is always on as well, and does the job of letting my wah get along with fuzz.

It's probably the best buffer on the market, outside of the Cornish crap which is way overpriced. VS also sold the buffer as a separate pedal, but it's very difficult to find. c

Members Midrange
At the beginning of my chain I've got a non-TB wah:( and a TU-2. So I guess those count. Hopefully the wah won't be that way forever. At the end, I just leave my Fish&Chips EQ on all the time.
