Members diamondschwin
my keeley sd 1 died yesterday, i have all my pedals power off of a Boss TU2, i lost power to all of them and immediately went to change the wall wart to a spare (the one i had on there had a crimp in it so i figured it was dead.) didnt change a thing, i then pulled the SD1 from the chain and all the other pedals pop back to life, as i am holding the pedal i realized its quiet warm and smells like burning electricity, i open it up and everything looks fine tho it turns on and off now (led wouldnt even light before) but no output when its enganged... ugh, they are closed right now and i am bummed.. any thoughts? Members MrMunky
Wow. I thought the death of a Boss pedal was the stuff of legend only. Keeley probably offers a warranty that supplants Boss' so you might want to check with him. Even if not he can probably fix it.
Members erksin
What else do you have daisy-chained? You do know that the TU-2 doesn't provide power, right? It only passes it on to the other pedals after taking what it needs - you could have exceeded the mA rating of the power supply. In any event call Keeley on Tuesday - he'll take care of you.
