Members dmsadkey
I have to have the level dimed on my DS1 to keep it at unity gain. All the suggested settings I've ever run across have had the level at 12 oclock or less. Is this a problem with my box or has anyone else experienced this? Members RUExp?
I've found it to be fairly low on the output too.

Members dmsadkey
Could it have anything to do with where the DS1 is in the chain - what's before or after it?

I am looking for a cheap DS 1 so I won't have to hack up my MIJ DS1. If you're interested in letting it go for not much $$, zap me a PM.c

I found I needed to crank it nearly all the way up as well. I think it has something to do with the way it interacts with the other buffered pedals in my chain.
