This is the correct answer.

Inscho - you liked your DT2, right? The BBD takes the DT2 to a whole 'nother level - by far the best TS I've tried.

And FWIW - with my BB, I don't sound like SRV either...

You can find them used around $110-$125 all day long...

The BB/BBD has the best harmonic content of any TS I've tried. To me, it's like the bastard child of a DT2 and a Hermida Mosferatu - richness with clarity.

I chose my SPF Green Line because, with one flip of the "modern/vintage" switch, the mid hump is gone. It matches my Marshall well, but I'm not a big fan of it through my Twin Reverb. I much prefer my TS9DX into that...

Yeah, you can almost get a scooped sound out of it when you roll it all the way back. That's right... a tubescreamer with a mid scoop! Audtion a few IC's to decide if you want some rasp or a smoother tone. However, the character control is the best feature by far though.

two screamers in one, with a switch to change the tone stack to tame the hump.

I like the look of that!

Cool metal work AND it sounds good?

Very cool!
