I want reverb... help

I play a framus dragon amp... it's a really nice amp, but no onboard reverb. I'm getting a line 6 dl-4 soon, because, well... tons of various guitarists I'm into use them and I know what they can do. I'd be using the sampling most of the time, but the delays will be there if I want them... so, that is covered, but I need some kind of reverb unit to go along with it.

I don't really know what to get. are there any really nice sounding reverb pedals? or am I going to have to get something like one of those g-major rack things...?

The electro harmonix holy grail / holier grail any good?

help a brotha out

What i would do is buy a seconda hand rack reverb and put it in the loop.

I have a holier grail and have mixed feelings, it's nice for long trailing reverbs but i don't like it for normal spring/plate stuff, but then again i'm playing mine in front of the amp and this is not really on.

A lot of people swear by them, i guess it's a "try out for yourself" thing.

Cheers

if you are looking for something versitale, that can go from subtle, to super deep cave. Then the Line6 Verbzilla is perfects. If you want something simpler, other reverbs will do.

Have you tried it in a loop? I know delays sound much better in an effects loop instead of the input, is the same true for reverb units?
