Members Fourth Floor
Hey guys, which footswitch do you need to use with the Boss RC-2 and what is it used for? Just simple stop/start. Thanks.
Members bierball
My guess is a momentary switch, such as Boss's own FS-5U.FS-5U
Members Fourth Floor
Is the U the momentary and the FS-5L the latching one? I'm pretty sure the choice is out of those anyway.

Members MrMunky
A momentary switch will do. I would suggest a $10 M-audio momentary footswitch over a $30-40 Roland momentary + $? cable, but that's just me. It does a few things, most of which I don't use, so it probably does more that I don't know about, but most usefully it 1) lets you scroll through your pre-recorded loops, 2) allows you to stop playing/recording, and allows you to delete what you just recorded. you can probably set it to do tap tempo and all this other stuff that I have never bothered to use.
