Members PFDarkside
Is this a real electromechanical piano or a digital emulation? If it's a real, new rhodes it's awesome... I was disappointed to learn that Hammond is making digital emulations of tone wheel organs now.
Members Alex D
I really hope this leads to a new clavinet. I know rhodes doesn't make them, but if they are making rhodes piano again, then maybe hohner will get back into the business of making clavs also

Why it has USB ports and how it does pitch bend.. not sure. Maybe it's both a mechanical rhodes and midi controller?

Members godard
As a proud Mark I owner it makes me smile seeing them repeatedly mention that the new one is lighter.
Members gil1
I love the idea of vintage stuff, but my Nord does a great job of Hammond, Clav, Wurly and Rhodes, plus nice Acoustic Pianos. I'm set. Though I guess a really Wurlly would be nice.
Members PFDarkside
No doubt.I foolishly picked up my '74 88 key in my Trans Am. Dumb move. If I gigged with keys, I'd get a Nord Electro or a roadie.
Members Electric Catfish
I gig with a '72 Suitcase 73. It's a bitch to move around, and stuff breaks on it all the time, but it sounds and feels killer. Steve
Members veil
Rhodes makes me happy. I wonder if this one will sound Close Enough.

I help move an A-100, a Rhodes, a Clav, and a Leslie 147 for every gig I play...and then all the rest of the band unloads our own {censored} while the keyboard player is getting his {censored} set up... Can't beat the sounds, though.
