Members dZjupp
i am looking to replace my graphic fuzz with something, and have stumbled upon this thing. how much gain/distortion can it put out? i've read that its pretty bright wich would be good considering i have a darker voice amp. also, someone mentioned that QTSA uses one..... Members stereotypy
the band lampshade uses one.. the guitar player plays a wonderful black american jazzmaster, a fender twin and a reezafratzitz... and when i saw them live the sound was amazingly good!! Members inscho
the reeza is a great high gain pedal....and it can also do a nice low gain overdrive... some sound clips can be found here:http://www.emmaelectronic.com/v2/index.php?sid=26&cid=

I am not currently using my Emma (in fact I may be selling it) but I have the Jeckyll and Hyde and also an Emma. The Emma is nothing like the JH. It would compare better to a crunchbox with an external presence control. The Emma is a bit clearer sounding as compared to the CB.

The Emma would probaply be closer to what you want. But then I have never used the Jekyll side of the JH with the gain up very high so it could may very well be able to get you there too. The Hyde side is more in the metal range. Kicking in both sides of the JH is almost the sound of insanity.
Members ZJD
Just to throw out another option, the MI Tube Zone will do the same thing as the EMMA ReezaFRATzitz, but with far more flexibility and it's cheaper.
Members S.L.B.
I have an Emmma its very Marshall sounding....It sounds much much different then a tube screamer, or a mesa type sound....what others have said about it being bright is true, but so is a JCM900 and to me it is a very comparable sound if thats what you are looking for I would Highly Recomend......I've put mine up for sale a couple times cause I don't play with that type of sound much, but then when I kick it on....I always wonder what I was thinking to offer it up. It really is a great pedal, and I don't think The Jeckyl and Hyde or any other pedal sound nearly as good if your looking for a Marshall type sound. I had a ReezaFRATzitz and loved it. Loved it to the point where I wrote Jan at EMMA and had him make me a true-bypass model (for various reasons). I decided to try out a 6-Knob TZ and was surprised at how close I could get it to sound like my favorite Reeza setting. To the point where in A/B-ing I got lost as to which pedal I was turning on or off because they sounded nearly identical. HOWEVER- the TZ has a wider gain sweep in both directions and with the tone-shaping knobs available, you can take it into metal, blues, and fusion territories as well. -Ben
