Members GuyaGuy
I'm sure it's just how they describe the flavor - lots of stouts and porters have a roasted coffee flavor, or even chocolate. I'd try one! some breweries actually add coffee grounds to accentuate the coffee flavor. which makes as much since to me as serving a Hefeweizen with citrus fruit to accentuate the citrus flavors but i digress.... I really dig an orange slice in a good Hefeweizen. In fact, Bells Brewery makes the best micro brew wheat beer I've ever tasted, and it goes great with an orange slice. If anyone's ever tried Oberon you know what I'm talking about.

I actually only dig it to cut some of the smokiness out of the flavor. It's not really to mask much. I just throw it in there. I don't squeeze it or anything. It's great in Blue Moon too. Members PFDarkside
Bell's Oberon is an outstanding beer, I love the fact that you can get it on draft almost anywhere around here now during the summer. I am confident they sell more Oberon than all of their other beers combined. I believe Oberon is an American take on Saison. It used to be called Solsun, but they ran into legal trouble with both Sol and Molson.
Members tomf
Too right !! It woudl sell quite well in the UK and Europe I reckon if they distributed it here. And I've just blagged another business trip to the Bay Area next month for a few weeks, so I will be drinking plenty of these. Hopefully doing some gear shopping again. im sure you can get them in tescos, they were selling them in sainsburys too if i remember rightly.
