Moderators The Eristic Posted January 15, 2007 Moderators Share Posted January 15, 2007 http://s48.photobucket.com/albums/f250/the_eristic/Gear/effects/uglyface/ This thing is way, way out there. One of the coolest sounding AND looking pedals I've ever played. Now, if I can just get an old Jawari to go with it... I do have one small problem, though. The LED isn't working, so I need to check the schem to see what it is supposed to do (status indicator or perhaps it follows the envelope?). Does anybody have the link to Tim's site with all his circuits, or know off the top of their head?

I built one ages ago, completely mad and brilliant pedal, Tim is completely overlooked, all his designs are way beyond vex in terms of innovation. I'll dig out my circuit or check my schem folders later PM Sent

Members ck3
Welcome to the Uglyface owners' club. I have two of them, but neither was built by the original designer. What does the "kill" switch do?
Moderators The Eristic Posted January 16, 2007 Author Moderators Share Posted January 16, 2007 Welcome to the Uglyface owners' club. I have two of them, but neither was built by the original designer. What does the "kill" switch do?It kills the oscillator, but in a manner that makes it sound sorta like an engine revving down and sputtering out. AS, thanks for the PM!
