What basic effects do you want on your board?

So, I'm one of the few in downsizing mode.

I asked this because although I find analog chorus or compression or octave or looping effects cool, I think I have more fun and get my point across better with my basics (fuzz, wah, trem, delay). I should probably throw in one additional boost, distortion or od depending on my mood. My mood and preference amongst those changes daily though. I find I get sick of pedal od and distortion pretty quick. Tones that keep me interested are usually gritty cleans or aggressive silicon fuzzface style fuzz tones. With cocked wah.

I might sell all of my od and distortion pedals. Weird?

Through my Musicman I could live with just my FX80B and I'd be just fine. Through a Fender head I need a comp, boost, and OD/Dist. I consider fuzz, trem, and delay to be semi-essential for me, but I can live without. My new appreciation is for chorus/leslie/phase. Gassing for a Polychorus and an envelope filter/synth wah. That's just for fun type stuff though. I don't think I'll ever really use them more than once or twice every set.

Papa Taco, where you been?

I believe I can answer for him as we traded some pedals recently and are old bandmates. He has had some health issues and is in and out of the hospital. He'll be fine though. They caught it in time and they expect a full recovery although it will be a long process.
