Members inscho
you have to keep the top open and flip it to toast both sides easiest way to do grill cheese is to broil it in the oven....butter it up, stick them on a pan, and broil....you'll still have to flip it...but it will be perfection

Members Wilbo26
No...the easiest and BEST way to do a grilled cheese is to cook it in a skillet over the stove. Butter up one side of each slice of bride, let the skillet heat up and then toss a slice of bread on with the butter side down (obvious...) then throw on the cheese and the last piece of bread. Once the bottom side is nice and browned flip it over with a spatula. Now, here comes the most important part. SMASH it down as flat as you can get it whilst the second side is cooking. Once the second side is nice and browned pull it of, set it on a plate to cool and enjoy.

Members T3
my george foreman does a perfect grilled cheese with the lid down, just load it up, run it and eat... it's not a very big one tho, maybe the lid isn't as heavy...

Do not be fooled by imitations.I also find grilled cheeses to taste better when cut diagnolly with the spatula you flipped it with. But thats just me. I'll give it a shot sometime...but that method has always worked for me and takes maybe 5 minutes so I've never felt the need to try and speed things up. Well I guess having a nice gas stove and having a set of nice skillets makes it a no brainer for me. Get yourself some T-Fal.
