Good. Sometimes I hate how much people jump on the Leafs are in the playoffs bandwagon and everyone all of a sudden has been a lifelong fan and crowd the streets. But every single time they just lose in the playoffs and the next day people stop wearing jerseys and take down the flags.

It is funny you say that- because there was a guy in the audience that they focused on who took his leafs sweater off after the nails were in the coffin and pens baseball cap on.

It is nice to finally see the Pens doing well again. They could have won the Cup in the 2000/2001 playoffs if they had kept Kevin Constantine instead of bringing in that Czech excuse for a coach, and if Jagr wasn't such a douche (he was pretty much invisible on the ice.)

Lets go Pens!

Excuse my Leet, but his team just got "WTF pwned"

As a die-hard Pens fan, and ex-Yinzer, that game did my heart good. Reminds me of when Le Magnifique used to beat up on the Leafs for 6-7 points during the late 80's/early 90's. :thu:

Also, Leafers might be the most class-less fans in hockey. I hope Maple Leaf Gardens collapses during the off-season and the team has to move to Hartford. That would be karmic payback for all the "Kansas City Penguins" signs and fights they've started.

(Not really, there's some awesome Leafs fans, but man, the hardcore fans there maybe the worst in the league. Yesh.)

You know it's bad if Mark Recchi is the guy with the hat trick...

I love Mats Sundin, but the rest of the Leafs can kiss my Red Wing lovin' ace...

Hey Rex played on the Legion of Doom line in the mid-90's. Homeboy's got 1300 career points and 498 career goals. He's not too shabby.

;)

He's just not the guy you'd expect with Crosby and Malkin out there...

I used to HATE the Pens when they had Jagr - but man those two sure are fun to watch!

Jagr always was sort of a little bitch. I think Malkin and Crosby are much cooler.

I don't think I've ever been so excited about the Pens as this year. I was too young to really get excited about them winning the cup in 91 and 92 (although I was happy and had a little jersey) and I was continually disappointed by their failed playoff runs and really hated the Panthers, the Devils, the Flyers, etc.

It is really cool to see an ascending team.

I was old enough to start going to games in the late 80's with my dad, saw the playoff runs, etc. Watching Crosby and Malkin reminds me a lot of watching the late 80's Pens. Very exciting, and you just know that they're going to start tearing the league a new one soon. It's a great time to be a Pens fan, as long as they stay in the city.

Heaven help Onorato, Rendell, and Ravenstahl if the Pens leave.

I hope they get lynched if the Pens leave. I'm not even kidding.

I've got a voodoo priest on retainer, just waiting to put a hex on old Fat Eddie. Gonna give him anal warts the size of cauliflowers if he {censored}s this one up. :thu:

(And this is coming from a life-long Democrat, by the by. Rendell is the sleaziest politician I've ever met outside of Mayor Daley. )

He seems like one of those old time corrupt politicians that you see in the movies.

I love hockey and I also prefer to just pick a team a go with it (should be the local team) so Leafs it has always been and always will be.

Leafs are having a {censored} year. Maybe they'll make the playoffs maybe they problably won't. Happens to every team. Everyone goes through the bad management days with their sports team.

Sure the Leafs haven't won a cup in nearly 40 years. Guess what, that just makes it better when they do eventually win. I'm sure many will jump onboard for that. I'd prefer to follow a mediocre team that overachieves than a top of the line team that always fails when it counts (Sens).

Our General Manager is a {censored}ing moron who's got literally 1/4 of the team salary in two unworthy players. 5 million in McCabe and 5 million in Kubina. Kaberle must be like WTF!!?!?

Anyway, why are we bashing the Leafs?

Mostly because a bunch of Leafs fans started fights at the Pens game last night and were holding up signs say "Kansas City Pens", etc. I have no problem with most Leafers, but c'mon. It's like you guys were Steeler fans or something. ;)

As an aside, did anyone catch the Leafs fan slapping the old man in the 3rd period? About the only time the fans were more wretched than the on-ice product.
