Members Happy_Thom
Ok I have a Laney AOR50 and I really like it but the only thing is it lacks reverb. Can anyone recommend something cheap that'd do the job? I have a digidelay which is wicked but I obviously already use that as delay... Doesn't have to be a pedal - I quite like those alesis microverbs or whatever they're called but they seem to go for lkke $70 near enough on ebay
Members english_bob
The EH Holy Grail is pretty cool, does a pretty convincing spring reverb and can be had fairly cheap.
Members Heineken
Find an old vintage 19"spring reverb like Vesta fire or Furman (tons of other brands too, Boss,Korg). They go for cheaper for some digital pedals that do a {censored}ty job at trying to catch the spring reverb sound. I bought my Vesta for $30 (it even has stereo output and has a limiter, and a direct/effect blend knob so that it hardly sucks tone) and my Furman for $50 (mono, blend, limiter and VERY good sound, my favourite) Cheap digital reverbs suck big time. Unless you can afford a $$$ Lexicon, go vintage. (And personally, i'd even prefer my springs OVER the Lexicon)
