Members Rowka
I'm looking for some advice from the FX board. I'm a bassist and sometimes use an Akai UB-1 Unibass. It's a pedal that takes the bass signal and splits it into two outputs. One output is the uneffected bass. The second output takes the bass signal and shifts it up an octave plus adds a fifth on top of that. Effectively letting me chug power chords over the bass. It's very useful in a 3 pc cover band. I have been using a V-Amp to process the "guitar" signal and it works very well. I get effects and amp models and such. The V-amp then feeds into a Tech 21 Power Engine (basically a clean 60w power amp 1x10 combo) . However, the ugly big blue V-amp is a big thing and cumbersome to set up on a pedal board, or off to the side. So I'm looking for something similar that can sit on the pedal board and is gig-sturdy. What are your thoughts on the X V-amp and/or the various Digi RP pedals? Thanks
