Members PeelingPaint98
So my Godin came today no thanks to {censored}ing Brian Moore and Muscian'sfriend bull{censored} 5 month backorder So it's too late to play it through an amp but I was noodling around on it without and I must say I am really digging this guitar. It fits my body so much nicer than the Les Paul I played for the last 6 years, the fret board is a bit wider which is nice as I have thick clumsy fingers. The action is wayyyyyy different, the LP has jumbo frets and I never got them knocked down, this is way super low by comparison. So tomorrow I will know how I dig the pickups, sorry but the pics don't really do justice to how beautiful the flamed top is. The color is cognac. Me likey

Members dan-o-guitar
Man that is luscious. I used to have a Montreal that had a lot in common. The piezo in the bridge along with the three band-eq makes for some really cool tones. If you get a chance, run the piezo output into a nice clean amp and simultaneosly run the humbuckers to another amp. It creates a great mix. Happy New Guitar day! Yeah I was considering picking up a small amp for this very thing on the few occasions I play out.
Members PeelingPaint98
So does it play like butta? I suppose, it feels more comfortable than the LP, the change in action will take some getting used to though . . .

Members PeelingPaint98
I like these older models much better than the new . . . bursts are all right but I don't know I think the black of the burst kind of ruins it . . . I dig the black hardware more as well, plus if the Godin name tag below the sliders on the new ones isn't removable that is teh ghey . . .

Members shawnc
I did the exact same thing, got an LGX Model-exact same colour as yours and pretty much put my Les Paul away. The godin has a lot more output, more versatility in tones and much faster playability.
Members MrMunky
Super sweet machine. I had an LGX3 back in the day. It sounded sweet and the chicks loved it.http://www.inrerocknroll.com/tunes/idea2.mp3
Members trlkvsky
I jammed a few times with a guy who had one, and the sound killed. He was playing through a Twin Reverb and it just completely blew me away. Congrats!
