You know there's an internal trimmer to adjust the volume of the effect? It can get pretty damn loud and gets deeper the louder you go.

From your sig, do you run the Mayo before or after the Mini Vibe? I always liked fuzz > vibe when using others, but with the BJF I prefer the Vibe first by a long shot.

i like the Mayo first in chain its really rich in texture. You are just full of good info on the vibe I'll have to find that dip switch thingy. I like running two vibes cant wait to bring the provibe back in action. i may have to crank the volume on the thing till i get my PP2 back in action.

Sounds good! I like that kinda "chiming" sound you're getting with the Octron.

Cheers, Dave! I really prefer the Octavia mode of the Octron, with internal gain about 90% and tone around 60% it gives up more ring-mod style clang and chime. Looking forward to the Octron 2! Best of luck getting them out. :thu:

bjorn is a pretty good artist too
:p
whats her name?

Bjorn's wife, Eva, paints those! ;) There's a character inside each pedal, here's info on the bjfe reference site ... http://www.tonesafari.com/bjferef/id6.html

Hope Donner doesn't mind me showing this one, Bjorn tells me the picture is to represent the "movement" of the Mighty Mini Vibe, like the "wobble" of a fine woman! The two-stomp versions have the "cupsize" switch, to select between two depths of vibe.

The Mini Vibe cuts a little of the mids and the treble/bass is boosted, so the more you crank the internal trimmer, the more it changes the eq. This helps it to stack well with fuzz and dirt.

As for it bringing out those Strat tones, try running speed at maximum and effect at minimum, it gives that tone without any "vibe" effect on the tone and makes for a great neck pickup enhancement.
