Members therhodeo Posted January 26, 2007 Members Posted January 26, 2007 My mom has lots of bird houses in front of our house and she loves watching the birds. However we have a huge population of squirrels, fairly tame ones at that. They get on the bird feeders, eat the food and scare away the birds. Every morning after I get up I sit at the front door and shoot the squirrels with my air soft gun. Completely non lethal but stings pretty bad. They run away or run up the tree. They always come back the next day so I'm assuming its not hurting them too bad. Is it wrong that I spend every morning shooting squirrels? That said I'm getting alot of good target practice.
Members therhodeo Posted January 26, 2007 Author Members Posted January 26, 2007 Terrible person. No morals.

Members RoboPimp Posted January 26, 2007 Members Posted January 26, 2007 perfect for when you're 33 and still living with mom and finally snap and go postal. You'll be quite the marksman at that point and will be able to get an appropriately high body count.
Members jasonfuzz Posted January 26, 2007 Members Posted January 26, 2007 Probably not. Although I'm sure theres a better solution.

Members freeridstylee Posted January 26, 2007 Members Posted January 26, 2007 I have plenty of other firearms at my disposal but I live in town and I dont want to kill them. I was just messing around. Good way to get rid of them, take a tape recorder into guitar center, take 8 kids playing bad metallica covers at the same time. Play very loud in your back yard.
Members inscho Posted January 26, 2007 Members Posted January 26, 2007 You know this is often the first sign that a person is a Sociopath, don't you? yup therhodeo, before you know it you'll be moving on to people.

Man, you didn't {censored}ing read the rest of his post, just fixated on the fact that he's shooting squirrels with a damn airsoft gun.
Members gil1 Posted January 26, 2007 Members Posted January 26, 2007 Automatic Squirrel-Ejecting Bird FeederThis is the bird feeder that automatically spins when a squirrel's weight rests on the feeder, gently but firmly flinging the squirrel safely away without harm and discouraging return visits (see the Bird Feeder in action). The mechanism is sensitive enough to allow finches, chickadees, and other lightweight songbirds to feed without spinning, and the feeders tube is ideally suited towards these types of birds, reducing the chance that larger birds such as crows will try to bully their way to feed. Typical tube feeders have four to six ports, but this unit has 12 seed ports, and requires n o assembly. Easy to clean, and requires three D batteries. Aluminum and stainless steel parts and a UV stabilized polycarbonate tube provide good weather-resistance. Includes hanging hook. http://www.hammacher.com/publish/73087.asp?source=google&keyword=bird+feeder+squirrels&cm_ven=NewGate&cm_cat=google&cm_pla=Fall06&cm_ite=bird+feeder+squirrels&OVMTC=Broad&site=&creative=707287761

Members waveman Posted January 26, 2007 Members Posted January 26, 2007 I really dont like doing it. I'm under orders though. Well just kill them and make up a mess of squirrel and dumplins If you can't handle that then move the bird feeders away from the tree on a pole they can't climb on.
