I mean, it wouldn't hurt their profits to occasionally put an Electro-Harmonix pedal on there, or even something from Boss or MXR. No, it's always either a cheapass guitar case, a cheapass guitar, or a cheapass plastic effects pedal. And not even a decent one like the Danos.

Well I don't think they have agreements with people like Arion that stipulate that they can't sell things for less than a certain amount like they do with Boss, EHX, etc...

I mean really- music gear is probably at the cheapest it has ever been since the dawn of the industrial age and yet people continue to bitch bitch bitch that they want something for nothing, then someone offers somethng for almost nothing and people bitch bitch bitch...

It's not about price, it's about quality, and the fact that they seldom offer anything of quality there, despite having more means to do so than anyone else in the world.

Regardless, just as they have the right to sell what they want, so too do we have the right to say what we want about it. At least our "bitching" is relatively unobtrusive in that we didn't jump in someone else's {censored} in the process.

You blokes in the US have nothing to complain about. Standard Boss OD's go for $200 here, or more (ie. BD-2). Fender amps typically cost 3-4x the US price despite our dollar being worth about 80cUS. And then there's the shipping you don't have to pay to the other side of the world.

You don't know how good you've got it.:freak::bor:

:thu:

It wasn't that long ago (before the days of massive mail order) when you were lucky to get BOSS pedals at 10% off list at your local store.
