Members mike.sartori
I was noticing that on the byoc tri-boost, the germanium part is based on a treble booster, but has a switch for making it a full range/mid boost.what are the pros, cons, and usuall applications for these two types of boost? Members Teahead
Treble Boost is great for humbuckers into cranked British amps. Mid Boost is great for single coils into the same and full range boost perhaps better suited to Fender amps, or at least clean, flat amps. There are no hard & fast rules though, Gallagher & May both use(d) single coils into Treble Booster & AC30.
