time for some new toys

i'm thinking maxon cp101 compressor and a maxon od9

or maybe i'll just get a pog

i have a behringer trem.. so maybe i should look at a better trem.. something cheapish.. or a wiggler

i have no flange.. flange is cool right?

there's some cheap lap steels at a store near me.. i'd like to start playing lap steel

a fender pro junior wouldn't go astray for recording... but they have no reverb... so i'd need a holy grail or something.. i currently use the reverb on my classic 30

i'd like a voodoo lab microvibe

woe is me.. oh the problems life throws at us

currently on my board .. crybaby... fish and chips eq... small stone.. aw7 autowah (maybe i should just get a tube zipper)... behringer trem...bad monkey... voodoo lab superfuzz... big muff pi (nyc)... DMM... de7

i play kinda floydian blues funk rock stuff... kinda

it's not much point telling you my budget.. as i'm in australia and we need to basically triple what you pay in the states... plus throw in our first born and sexual favours for a month

i could either get both maxons... or the pog.. or the amp.. or the lap steel and 1 maxon.. or a flange and a maxon.... or the microvibe and a cheapish trem....my head hurts

cheers

i'd say no to the tube zipper... i owned one and i really liked the sound clips on ehx's site... but it's very analog and hard to dial in. needless to say i never used it. i have a micro vibe and it's cool. i love my pog as well but i don't use it that much... but wouldn't get rid of it for anything.

thanks

i guess that's the worry with certain pedals.. how much i'd use them... the pog looks like fun... but i'm not really into "organ" type sounds on guitar... i have a keyboard for that
it does look like a fun pedal though

i'm leaning towards the lap steel and maxon compressor at the moment

I'd get a chorus with a true pitch vibrato mode. If you put the depth down to just noticable and speed up you can get really cool and sublime pink floyd tones. (especially with the DMM and DE7)

The Clone Theory is a little good at that, and I'd recommend it if you don't mind the tiny bit of hiss it produces.

Wiggler - Trem and Vibrato in one.

REALLY tempting.. i could go that and one other cheaper pedal

i've had a few problems with my classic 30.. it's ok now but the main thing i'm doing now is writing and recording.. if the amp screws up again i won't be happy... it's why the pro junior is so tempting

i'm off to watch the wiggler demo video again
