the Avengers

I was playing around with the theme from the Avengers yesterday. I used an Akai Headrush2 for the loop. The clean sounds are with a bjfe PGC compressor and SBeq. The dirt is a COT50 into a Valveboy. I'm using a Tone Factor Eeyore A/B dual bypass looper to switch between the two tones with one stomp. I add in some swirl from a bjfe MGMV vibe on the coda.

Thanks.
:)

It's a custom built blackguard tele from Greenwich Village Custom Guitars from back before there were served by Fender and grew very pricey. I like to reverse the controls on all my teles for pinky swells; (vol, tone, then 3-way.)

Nice.

How hard is it to change these things around? I mean, for a guy with no experience with electronics?

You'll need to switch the position of the volume and tone knobs/pots when you flip the control plate. Most teles are wired without a lot of extra lead, so you might need to extend or replace a few wires. You need to be carefull with the soldering iron or you may damage a pot. It's not a complicated job, but can get tricky if you have limited experience.

Definitely a neat mod... but I think I'll wait a while before trying it out on my tele. To be honest, I've never even held a soldering iron... :D
