That's the clip indicator, the green one is just an indicator of a good signal. The Whammy II rules. I got two. If you didn't know, you can hold down the selector footswitch and then go move to other modes while your existing one is still on (so you can use pitch shifting and harmonies at the same time) or you can "program" it to jump back and forth between two presets like this.
