Members desertlimosine
This is a clip of my new bass pedal board. This clip reminds me of some sort of bowed synth cello, very cool sounds. These are the pedals activated in the clip: fuzz factory>Tonefactor analog filter> Boss OC2> Digiverb 100% wet Soundclick Link

Members desertlimosine
thats a pretty rad tone dude... Thanks! Its a sweet pedal combination. I had a few pedals around that i don't use on guitar (for various reasons), so i put this board together, and messed with combos.. That bowed sound is pretty damn trippy! Members Luke m-s
That is so cool, im a bassist an im expanding my board all the time. I like loads of dirt pedals so you can achieve different layers of dirt.

Members adam barkley
I didn't really care for it. I don't like when a signal is drenched in reverb, whether the signal is bass or guitar. Granted, I have no use for that type of tone. Regardless, thanks for the clip.

Yeah, its defiantly not something that would work in all types of songs. But for ambient, and textures, it could be pretty amazing with other synths, layers, etc.

Members desertlimosine
wondeful tune there!but is this your normal fuzz factory setting? Thanks! Yeah, thats the setting that i use on bass. Its the most stable, and punchy. I'll put up some clips of just the fuzz factory and bass sometime. Members desertlimosine
:thu: I think you're the first person I've ever known to use the SCOD on bass. How is it? It's sweet! It has a nice overdrive sound that compliments the clean nicely. And you know, the pedal is great for dynamics, so lightly playing gets some clean sounds, and you dig in, and it becomes more present and in your face. I'll try to get some clips of it up sometime. Members THeLoveGun
lol...I achieved something similar with my guitar...don't remember the combo...but here it goes.Verbzilla (Octo mode: string effect) + Midfi E. Glitch Computer (two octaves down) the glitch computer too is quite fun...hook it up with your fuzz Factory and I ended up with a saxo tone as well. keep it up. Members desertlimosine
the ps3 on reverse delay mode 2 octaves down 100% wet mix gets a similar cello sound I've always wanted to try out the Ps3 and Ps3. I've heard lots of cool creative sounds from clips posted here.
Members bassplayinguy
you can get close to that sound, minus the reverb with a Microsynth. plus you can add delay on the attack to get a good bowed sound. but that sounds pretty damn cool Nice choice of pedals, never seen a SCOD on a bass board before.
