Members The_Spice
And then I start dusting off old pedals and figure out that I can create the same sound with stuff that I already have, and the feeling that follows is one of the purest forms of disappointment I have ever met. Does this happen to anyone else? Does it mean I am an addict? This is the only circumstance where not getting to spend money makes me sad (of course sometimes I go ahead and buy the fancy new pedal anyway...). Members wacopacco
yea happens to me. Keeps me from buying overdrives. I used to think "is it really that much better than my sd1?". Then i'd talk myself out of it.
Members The_Spice
yeah, my re-issue RAT is the one that keeps doing it to me. I see all of these new dirt boxes and get excited but then I mess around with the rat by itself and in combination with various fuzzes that I have and it's just like "well X is better... but not $200 better... I guess I should just save for a nicer amp... I hate saving money".
