Members drasp
I recently won an eBay auction for some 57/62 pickups for my MIM Strat. While I have it apart, I decided to re-do my wiring with vintage cloth stuff and nice CTS/Switchcraft stuff. Since I'm doing all that, I figured I may as well upgrade my bridge & add the Callaham shielding plate. Just pulled the trigger on the Mexican premium upgrade kit! Hoping it'll be worth the $$$. Members plinky
I recently bought a MIM 50's Reissue Strat. Pickups obviously need replacing, I'm angling towards a set of Bare Knuckle Mother's Milks. Also, weirdly, considering replacing the neck with a 'C' shape one. Leads are really good on the current neck but chords are more awkward.
Members vigor&kandor
I just put a new neck on my MIA strat. It is an old Warmoth with a 'fat back' and a High Mass truss rod. Brazilian Rosewood board, flame and birdseye neck. Kluson vintage tuners and 62' fender decal. the neck is the fattest neck ever.
Members HKSblade1
that and use better wiring. My MIM Strat got some EMGs dumped in and still had noise. Used better wire from Stewmac and it's clean. threw some Sperzels on there too
