Members lostandfoundpdx
nope, sounds nothing like the original... it has issue when you run it in a daisy chain. i would say pass... find a cheap big one.

Members Noise...
Ahh. Thanks for the heads up! I'll pass on it then. Any other recommendations for a chorus around $50?
Members lostandfoundpdx
i would say you could snag a used nano clone theory for +-$65 range.. i see them on occasion on ebay for that. maybe a used boss CE2-3-5? any of these seem to be decent contenders. check out the spam thread, there are always dudes selling chorus pedals. the one i use is an old 80s yamaha analog chorus thats totally sweet, but i dunno if you could find one, haha. Members trlkvsky
CE-3s (Made in Japan) are going for 35-45$ on the bay these days. Don't know if they're worth it though... My guess is yeah. Just bought a Small clone for 50$ + shipping. Although I might've been better off buying it new at that price.
Members Salsage
I have used BOSS pedals for years. Some of their Chorus pedals are pretty good. All over Ebay for $50 ish
Members slash81291
just because it dosn't have the deep switch, does that make this thing's tone bad? I am just curious if the major problem you guys have with it is the powering issue, and the fact it does not 'sound like a small clone'. Would you still call it a good chorus if it had no connection to its bigger brother the small clone?
Members Salsage
For me it was a combination of very limited controls...coupled with the power supply problem. The XO Clone theory is superior.I generally like EH pedals
Members slash81291
Well, in my case I have never played an EHX pedal. I like the idea of a 1 knob chorus with a small footprint because A. its all I have room for and B. I can just set the knob and forget it (unlike say a Boss CE-5). I have no way of trying one out before I buy one (unless someone has clips I haven't found). I am not picky about sound quality as most of my pedals are the dreaded newer Boss pedals. Any recomendations?

Members slash81291
well I thought that people said it does not sound like the small clone? If it is similar to the small clone except only one fixed mode then im sold.
Members capnbringdown
How do the nano clone theorys sound in relation to the small clone? I kind of want a small clone to compare to my ce-2 but those nano clone theorys are looking kind of nice, too. Oops. I didn't mean to delete my post. Ok. That's a plain Clone Theory. Not sure what the big difference is with the Small Clone, except the casing is probably more durable, and it's stereo. I'm trying to find a painting for a class, and they apparently didn't like what I was looking at. {censored}ing bastards. I'm only assuming you can tell by the pic, though. So, anyone compared the clone theory to the small clone then?
