Any reason NOT to get a Princeton recording amp?

Well as long as there's a PA available gigging with one wouldn't be a problem...but I suppose that's a BIG if there. When I gigged we played maybe 1 or 2 venues that didn't have our amps miced up running into the sound board, and those places were so small that a 15 watt amp would be plenty, granted there wouldn't be any clean tones with the amp cranked.

Yeah, for dirty tones out of the amp, a 15 watter is OK. I have a Bumbox that switches from 1 to 15 watts and I am more than loud enough for jams when playing dirty at 15 watts. My only thing about those Princetons is with jams, it's not likely that I'd always have a PA for the amp, and it sucks when you get blown away by a drummer with anger issues when you're playing clean.

I was all psyched for those Peaveys until the Champ 600 showed up. I don't really care about the extra stuff, just want the amp, and at 2 bills, the Champ is attactive, if it sounds good.
