Members phishmarisol
Let's say you send something USPS with delivery confirmation. The USPS site says it was delivered but the person says they never got it. Is the seller obligated to refund the money? Is USPS liable? There is no insurance on said package. What say you? Members PeelingPaint98
I would say you are not liable, if the purchaser did not ask for insurance and the delivery service confirms that it has been delivered I don't see why you could be held liable for it. Members Last Nerve
I would agree to some extent. If USPS shows it as delivered, they can't prove otherwise. HOWEVER, did they pay by Paypal? If they're threatening a dispute, know that you MUST ship with Signature Confirmation on any purchase of $250 or more with Paypal. If it was under that amount, Paypal will ask you to provide confirmation of delivery, which you have.
Members phishmarisol
No they are not threatening. It's not even really about that. I got their part of the trade, I know they are 100% legit. I just hate the situation it puts us in. They said it was delivered this afternoon and he says that it wasn't. Hope it ends well but I can't see that happening right now.
Members Last Nerve
Did they look around the house at all? FedEx once left a package in my garage. Took me two days to find it (wasn't tracking it online). He went from the front door, through the side door, through the back door into the garage and put it there. Members Eddie
Another option is that it was delivered to a neighbor.
