Members angelhair0
So I got this pedal the other day in the mail. Been playing with it. I can do some semi-cool things with it... but I have a Whammy, PS-3, and about 6 other delay pedals! I don't want delays and pitch shifters just to have them. I want them if they each do their own thing and/or I can really use them. I don't know if I really need this... it's hard to tweak and get any unique sounds out of it. Not sure if I should sell/trade it or not. The fact that it's vintage (stopped production in 84) tempts me to keep it... just not sure. Anyone got any ideas for this pedal? Secrets? Tips? Things I should try before I put it in the spam thread?
Members Boron
Try going to the manual pitch setting, put the pitch knob at midday, cranking the feedback up, and subtly tweaking the pitch until it starts screaming at you - then wrench the pitch away and it's like when you stop a record on a direct drive turntabe "PEEWWW!" Also - that tuner out is basically a sine wave oscillator that corresponds to where the pitch knob is set, so that can be fun too. It's a cool pedal - Wish I hadn't sold mine! Members greaseenvelope
shortest delay setting, high feedback. tap on to create high-pitched insectoid self-oscillation. if you had expression pedal control of the pitch/fine time adjustment this would be heavenly. i use this in electronic drum production to get that "muslimgauze" attack. Members angelhair0
I want to try and use this musically rather than just making cool noises. I love noise music and stuff like that... I just don't really do it in my band.
Members NITEFLY182
The delay itself is very nice but I primarily use it for the lazer sound that people are giving above. Its nice for little accents during looped parts or interludes.
