I was wondering if I can plug two different amps into the 2290? The first amp will most likely be a Roland JC 120 (effects loop send). The second amp, a Marshall JMP head. The speaker out of the JMP will be plugged into a dummy load box and the outs of the dummy load into the 2290 at line level. How can I do this so I am using the 2290 for both amps at once? In other words, I would have a basic chorus+delay sound coloring both of these amps at once. Can I do this or do I need a separate processor for each amp? Also the dummy load has a stereo out and I tried to look at a pic of the back pannel of the 2290 and didn't see any left and right ins. Can I still plug a stereo source into the 2290? Thanks!

Does it have stereo inputs and outputs? If so, it might work, depending on how it handles the incoming signal. Many stereo-stereo units will sum both inputs to feed a single delay circuit, in which case you'll be "tainting" the signal (delayed signal from amp 1 bleeding into amp 2's fx return, and vice versa). Ideally you'd want to have separate delay circuits for left and right channels, respectively, but that's a really rare thing.

If the 2290 has a single mono input, it can't be done.
