Members thenakedarab
Figured it would be a good kid safe concert, and I get to relive my youth too (always a good thing). Kilroy Was Here was my first rock album I owned, and I used to listen to all my Mom's old Styx albums when I was a kid. I'm actually pretty damn stoked about it. Aerosmith safe? Only if you're into cross dressers, and a few thousand drunken grown up versions of Todd from Beavis and Butthead.

Recently I played some of my old Styx, and yeah some of the songs sounded a bit dated but Suite Madame Blue will always Rock!

Members thirsty one
They rock just fine! I loved them in the day, will the band buster Dennis Deyoung be present to offer his voice and keyboards? They toured last year without him, and he toured doing styx songs with local orchestras.James & Tommy both rock. So does Dennis when he is a team player. Members trucks
I remember going to Styx concerts where the house lights were dimmer than the multitude of glowing joints. Looking at the picture, that might explain why Tommy picked out those pants with diamonds on them...
Members thenakedarab
Well, I am quite happy to report the show kicked ass, Chuck Panozza got up and played the last third of the show with them. They sounded absolutley killer, some of the best sound I've heard at a show in quite a while. Not boomy at all, the guitars, drums and bass all had a ton of punch to them, but still sounded clear. There were a couple of moments for one song where the sound-girl had the levels too hot, and got some overload, but besides that it was awesome. Good guitar playing and tones too, Tommy and JY were playing throuh what looked to be Superleads from a distance, but I didn't get up close to the stage to check. The keyboardist covered some of Dennis DeYoung's vocal chores too, but it was mostly Tommy and James doing the singing.
Members thenakedarab
Not my cup o cha BUT, cool you are taking your Son! HAVE A GREAT TIME! Wish my old man would have done things like that! See, my dad never did anything with me, didn't see him from the time I was four 'till I was thirty, by thirty-three I told him if he tried to interject himself into my son and I's lives again I would beat the living hell out of him. He told me I couldn't talk like that to him as he was my father, to which I replied you have to contribute something of value to someones life to claim that honour, you're just a sperm-donar.Oh well, my mom and step-father are super-cool. I went to see David Bowie, Floyd, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, Monsters of Rock, and Buddy Guy with them. So I'm just carrying on a family tradition by turning my son on to the joy's of music, live and otherwaise.
