Members Noise...
My TS7 is getting a somewhat tunnel-like sound to it. It seems to be lessened with the tone down. Is this a normal sound for this pedal? Is there a trick to making it go away? Also, how different will the sound be if I get it modded by Analogman to TS808 specs? Members veil
What is tunnel-like? Your TS-7 sounds like it is filled with commuting cars? It sounds like a long, concrete tube?
Members Noise...
Like if my amp was down a tunnel from me. No cars. Not reverby, not echoing, just like the sound's coming down an empty tunnel.

Members Noise...
Eh...I can't really supply a clip. No recording gear. I guess it has a bit of a thinner distant sound. Is that just the nature of this pedal?
Members L6Sguy
should sound like a standard overdrive -- no tunnels, verb, etc. have you narrowed it down to just the ts? whats the power source? swapped cables yet? y'know, the whole drill? bought new or used? Members Noise...
Yeah. It only happens when I turn the TS7 on. And, it only happens if I have the tone knob past about 10 o'clock. Below that it sounds like a normal OD. The powersource is a 1Spot, and I have switched cables around because I was looking for the source of noise in the chain. After trying each pedal individually, I narrowed it down to either the 1Spot making noise, or my house's FILTHY power that already screws with my amp. I'm assuming it's the house. So, yes. Swapped cables, the whole deal. Is it just that the TS7 has a weird tone to it with the tone knob set higher? It sounds fine lower, and actually, I like the sound of the tone lower quite a bit. It seems to make everything respond a bit more. Is this common with the TS7's, or should I look into getting it replaced?
Members ScreamCage
Does it have a kind of flange sound without the swirl? It's not that I actually have an idea of what the heck that would mean, I'm just trying to help all of the super geniuses on here to figure out what you're saying. Members Noise...
No, more just thin sounding with a slight bit of tunnel sound. But, as I said, it's only when the tone knob is past ~10 o clock.
