Are you talking about the lead guitar work on the album version of 'Hard to Handle'? If so then according to Rich it was recorded by Brendan O'brien. Who knows what his gear preferences are. Live it was done by Jeff Cease on a Les Paul through a Marshall stack of some sort. I'm guessing a JCM 900 or a Jubalee.

Yes im talking about the solo on the album. Im sure his sound would be close to the same live though. I am not trying to go out and buy all this crazy stuff to cop someone else's sound, I have a good lead sound, but Rich just has something more to it, is there a compressor or anything on it? an eq maybe could help?
