Members bondini
I think I really want a scod, but it won't fit on my board as it's the wrong damn way up. What other great distortions are there in mxr size boxes? Wondering about a Crunch Box but is it ultra high gain? I don't want to sound too 80s. I want the sound of a cranked amp, not too fuzzy. I'm playing through a clean Fender.Any other suggestions? Is the scod the best in this area? (I'm playing a fat strat, classic rock/psych/stoner/blues/heavy rock. Already got a TS9 & Mayo)Thanks! Members comfortablynumb
I believe the Crunch Box is a Marshall flavored distortion. It'd probably be perfect for you.
Members OT?
I believe the Crunch Box is a Marshall flavored distortion. It'd probably be perfect for you. I'd agree with that fully. You could dial the settings on it down a bit if you find it too be a bit too high gain for some of your likings.

Members greatwhiteclark
I dig the Rust Driver from HAO. In some situations it feels a little light in the bass dept. It plays well with others as well. It has the marshall vibe for sure.

Members bondini
How about the subdecay stupid box v2? Is it fuzzy at high gain or can I dial that out with all the trimpots? And can the screwdriver really sound like a cranked amp?
